The NHL plans aon announcing the schedule for the 2009-10 season today at 3 PM ET. To many people this day may not mean much, but for the avid hockey fan it is like Christmas. For me, the release of the schedule means that it is time to pick out the Flyers games that I will be going to during the season. My brother and I have a “draft” for tickets, and we each take about 5-7 games.
Do any of you ever anticipate the release of a schedule in any sport? I know each league’s schedule announcement is a big day for me.
Today we will also learn about the 2010 Winter Classic. At Broad Street Heroes we already knew that the Flyers will be traveling to Fenway Park to face the Boston Bruins, but today will be confirmation. For all of you Flyers fans out there, I will provide information about how you can get tickets. I am anxiously awaiting this because I want to know if I will be able to get a ticket as a Flyers season ticket holder. Hold on tight, the Flyers are only 3 months away from continuing their quest for Lord Stanley’s Cup!
