BroadStreetHero With a walk off single in the bottom of the 9th Shane Victorino further added to his All Star candidate resume. The bloop single that he hit ended a very good ball game in favor of the Phillies, who won in walk off fashion by a score of 3-2. Ryan Madson pitched better than I’ve seen him pitch in a month, which is such a relief. This is what happens when the top of the order gets on base. The Phillies are back to their winning ways, 5-1 and in their last 6!
In other news, apparently the Los Angeles Dodgers are prepared to offer young phenom Clayton Kershaw in a deal to land Roy Halladay. This seems to be the most substantial offer for Halladay besides anything that the Phillies may be planning to offer. What do you think of Halladay, should the Phillies overspend to get him, and what would the ramifications be if he was dealt to the Dodgers?
